Tumblr
The constant downtime that Tumblr experiences is going on my nerves. For now I will move over to my WordPress Blog. May be better too, I had some content here and some there. Putting all the content on one blog is better for me and for reader. Not that I have a lot :P http://mcyukon.wordpress.com/

There is nothing more annoying that trying to concentrate in a room full of, cookie munching, chip crunching, and coffee slurping people. Seriously, have you ever tried to concentrate when someone else is eating next to you? It’s nerve wrecking.

The new Skype 5 Mac
I don’t know who is designing the UI for Skype but in my opinion someone should loose there job. The UI is so “puffed” up it is ridiculous, before Skype used about 20% of my screen now it uses almost 50%. One of the new additions is a iTunes artwork style browser for your contacts avatars, that is totally useless unless you are 50% blind in both eyes and can’t see anything...

This sounds familiar…
As the Presidential election of 1992 approached President Bush’s popularity declined. To make matters worse, the liberal media in america created an imaginary “climate of economic crisis” that the other Presidential candidates ( Democrat William (Bill) Clinton and independent candidate Ross Perot ) used to their advantage by warning the American people that only a major change in...

Firesheep
The newest craze on internet security blogs is discussing Firesheep, a Firefox extension that allows a perfect noob to capture authentication cookies off public wifi hotspots when people log into their facebook, twitter, etc. Once the cookies are captured the capturer can use them to log into the site with the captured persons account by simply double clicking the capture info. I decided to test...

Never even though of that, pretty clever if you think about it. Could just be that it will slow down browsing a bit as it need to check the 1220 something lines for blacklisted servers.

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO)
A recent study done by a high schooler showed that 43 out of 50 people support an outright ban on dihydrogen monoxide, a odourless and colourless substance. Some of his reasoning points were: 1.Causes excessive sweating an vomiting. 2. Is a major component on acid rain.  3. Can cause severe burns in its gaseous state. 4. Contributes to erosion. 5. Decreases effectiveness of automobile brake. 6....

The Government
If there is one thing on this planet that annoys me more than anything it’s the government. The red tape and forms it produces that the common citizen has to deal with is just insane, I mean why must it all be so difficult and time consuming? And most of all, annoying? Take this for example. License A expires on 2010/01/20 License B expires on 2010/10/12 While license A would be good...

CleanMyMac
All over the internet in Mac circles one can find dazzling reviews of CleanMyMac. Now for some reason I have never like CleanMyMac or anything that came from Macpaw and today I came upon an article that shows you exactly what goes on inside of CleanMymac, and frankly I’m glad I never spent money on it. http://rixstep.com/4/2/cleanmymac,00.shtml

Same Camera But For $553 More
Leica released the V-Lux 2 today and it is the exact same camera as the Panasonic FZ100, just with the red Leica dot on the front. One must wonder if it really is worth $553 just to have the Leica logo on the front of the camera. http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/21/leica-v-lux-2-looks-like-an-fz100-shoots-like-an-fz100-costs-a/

It's Almost Full Moon Again
Don’t tell me that the moon doesn’t have any influences on sleep, I know better. Every time a full moon is almost here I have trouble getting to sleep. Sometimes I just lie in bed wondering why I can’t sleep when it finally dawns on me, the moon must be going on full again. Grrr…

14 Kilograms of berries
This month we picked a total 14 kilograms of wild berries for marmalade. For those of you how have never picked wild berries, this is how it works. #1 Grab a container of some kind. #2 Trudge around it the forest for hours while trying to find a berry patch the bears haven’t been into yet. #3 Pick berries till your back gives out, while actively scanning the surrounding forest for a 500...

The Pudding Guy
In 1999, UC-Davis civil engineer David Phillips was grocery shopping when he noticed something peculiar. Healthy Choice Foods was offering frequent-flyer miles to customers who bought its products. But a 25-cent pudding would bring 100 miles — the reward was worth more than the product itself.Recognizing a good thing, Phillips bought 12,150 servings of pudding for $3,140, claiming he was stocking...
